Being both a Hawaii native and a fitted connoisseur I feel like the hats released by Fitted Hawaii always appeal to me in a very special way. Fitted Hawaii release extremely limited edition runs of their hats and they are pretty challenging and pricey to get if you live on the mainland. Their Mua logo is one of their most popular logos and the hat pictured above serves as a prime example of the hot stuff (I’m talkin’ LAVA hot) that Fitted Hawaii tend to release on a regular basis. The black denim pays homage to the lava rock that is left behind once lava dries and hardens while the broad range of fiery colors that make up the crown of the Mua represent the many stages that lava takes on as it travels up from the Earth’s blistery depths. I moved away from Hawaii when I was 18 to see what life is like outside of an island, but my heart never left.
