With this year coming to a close I wanted to pay homage to what I thought were the five best fitteds of 2011. No specific order to this list, just selecting five over the year was hard enough. Enjoy and start this New Year off right!
1. Ecap City’s Seattle Mariners Retro w/ Green Underbrim

I slept on this fitted when it dropped a few months back and it quickly sold out. I regret this decision because while living in the Pacific Northwest I realized that you could wear a Seattle Mariners hat to a wedding and not get looked down upon.
2. Fitted Hawaii Grey, Black, and Cyber Green Mua

Born and raised on Oahu, HI. you know I had to have a hat from Fitted Hawaii on this list! I’m a sucker to these Mua drops because they usually come out so sick while remaining relatively simple but vibrant.
3. Upper Playground’s San Francisco Giants Custom

If I had a nickel for every San Francisco Giants hat I’ve seen while attending college in The Bay I’d be filthy rich. Simple, subtle, and clearly a custom, this specific Upper Playground drop is my favorite. It’s a dress-code MUST for anyone who spent any time in The Bay.
4. The Clink Room’s Sludgebug Custom

I’m a huge fan of The Clink Room and how close they are with their fan base. On top of that, their fitted drops are always highly anticipated and always come out looking stunning. The Sludgebug drop they did this year was topped off with a charity cherry as all profits from this hat were donated to Oceana to aid their attempts to clean up our oceans.
5. MyFitted’s Rivalry Team Switch Series

MyFitted blew my mind when they released their Rivalry Team Switch fitteds. It featured some MLB and NBA team logos done up in their rivalry team’s colorway. It was an awesome concept and I hope they do something similar next year.
So that’s it, my top five fitteds of 2011. On a personal note, I want to wish all my readers, followers, and supporters a happy New Year and I want to thank you for all the support and comments you’ve given me. Without you, this blog would be nothing. I look forward to the new 2012 drops coming out soon and with the addition of NFL teams in to the mix, this will be an awesome year in New Era history!
